How to modify and design text on your photos with the online designer [with 4 approaches and examples]
When working on a new design, one should never be ignorant of the importance of adding text, symbolism and imagery within their creations. In this brief tutorial, we will show you how to add and modify text simply with little effort.
-
Add text directly:
The easiest technique is, of course, to simply add it directly after you have the photo you want to add it to. We can use Fotor Design to do it.
To do this, simply open the function you wish (from the Fotor homepage) and set your photo as the background. Once that’s done, adding text can be done from the left hand menu.
Press Text to type your text.
Having written what you want, you can easily change the colour of the text using the left hand menu.
-
Using different font sizes
As you can manually change the font size from within your design, you should understand how to maximize this to its full potential. The largest portion of the text should be the most important.
Make sure it’s creative!
-
Text Shading:
Shading your text is a great way of using simple colour tricks to bring out the strong points on your message.
-
Contrasting Colour Effects:
One particularly important thing to remember when designing ANYTHING is the use and limitation of colours. Contrasting colours (comprised of only 2) are usually the most eye-catching. You should keep this in mind when colouring your text.
Now, I believe you must have a clear understanding of how to add text by using Fotor, so come and have fun!
