DIY Thanksgiving Card and Express Your Gratitude
It’s officially the holiday season, meaning your to do list is about seven pages long and the days seem to have shortened to only fifteen hours. In the midst of the busyness of the season, it can be hard to make time for the people you love. Fotor knows that, and we’re here for you.
Don’t spend your valuable time planning and designing a holiday card for Thanksgiving when that work has been done for you. With the many templates available on Fotor, we’re sure you’ll find something you love, and you’ll be thankful to have some precious (and elusive) time back in that busy schedule of yours.
Here are some ideas for you.
Start with a great photo
It may sound redundant at this point, but the first ingredient in a great cardie a great photo. The graphic is the first thing people say. You can use a family photo, a dinner photo, or anything really. Don’t have a photo? Scroll through the background images in Fotor and choose one of those.
Play around with the templates
Don’t be too good for design templates. Templates are there to help you find inspiration, but they’re not set in stone. As is the case with everything on Fotor, be sure to customize. Change the colors, mess with the fonts and add in stickers. Your template doesn’t have to end up being the same as everyone else’s. Edit it to make it represent you.
The right one is edited from the template on the left.
Have fun with your card. Use words and phrases that are associated with this time of year and make your card more interesting and fun.
Send it to a special person
Thanksgiving is about a lot of things. The meal, the football and, of course, everything we’re thankful for. But don’t forget the people you’re thankful for. Think of someone who needs to know how special they are to you and send them a card saying the simplest message, “thank you.” We promise that you’ll make their day.
This year, take time and reflect on what you’re thankful for. We, at Fotor, are thankful for you.
Love the tips! I was just thinking about getting some Thanksgiving cards and these tips will make everything easier. Thanks!
